B.S.E., Chemical Engineering & B.S.E., Materials Science and Engineering, University of Michigan (both received in April 2022)
I am interested in working on technologies like cellular backpacks, in addition to the exploration of potential newer technologies like metal organic frameworks, for cell therapy and drug delivery, with a focus on neurodegenerative and autoimmune diseases. Additionally, I would like to help expand our understanding of the fundamental mechanisms that follow backpack adhesion on cells, the fusion of different cell types together, and the consequent applications in cell therapy and regenerative medicine. Finally, I am interested in working on the improvement of organ-on-a-chip models for the creation of more accurate in vitro models for the body’s various biological barriers.
